Update No.10 –April 2012

Shaping the place where we live.
I’m pleased to advise you that the Kirdford Village Design Statement (VDS) has been printed and is available for you to purchase at cost price £2.50 in the Kirdford Village Stores. The VDS booklet is used to inform Planning Officers about our village but for anyone who is interested in Kirdford’s social history, historic buildings or landscape, its flora and fauna or other characteristics of the area this would be a good read.
Meanwhile, the community’s plan for the sustainable growth of the village prepared as part of the CLP exercise are being reviewed by Chichester Planning officers in advance of our progressing the work on our Neighbourhood Plan.
Wisborough Green is moving forward with its Community Led Plan and I look forward to seeing you at the open day events at the village hall on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st April 2012.

Chichester District Council (CDC) Cabinet Meeting
Cabinet had a number of items on its agenda this month, full details on the CDC website, the most relevant item for our area being the approval of the new Customers Services Strategy that will make it easier for us to access more services and information on the website over time. Given the increasing cost of transport that has to be welcomed!
