The next major events in this year’s social and
fundraising programme are :
Open Gardens
Some of the most
individual and interesting gardens in Wisborough Green will once again be
opening for public viewing.
This year’s event, to be
held on Sunday 8th June 2008, promises to be even
better than past years with some new gardens added to this years programme.
Gardens will be open from 11.00 a.m. onwards (last tickets at 4.00
p.m.). Visitors can enjoy various
gardens around this pretty Sussex village as well as tea and refreshments in
idyllic surroundings. Locally grown plants will also be on sale for those who
wish to add to their garden stock.
Tickets are priced at £5
per Adult (Children under 16 free) and can be purchased on the day from the
Gazebo on the Green.
This popular event is
organised by the Friends of St Peter ad Vincula with all proceeds going towards
preserving and improving the core fabric of the Grade I listed church.
Christ’s Hospital Choral Society on 19th July 2008
The Friends of St Peter ad Vincula are delighted to
welcome members of the Christ’s Hospital Choral Society and provide an
exceptional opportunity for villagers to enjoy this superb choir performing
songs from HMS Pinafore.
