Don’t miss this exciting event in 2018!

For the second year (2017), we were blessed with good weather, a host of enthusiastic runners, walkers, helpers and spectators creating a fantastic Wisborough Green atmosphere!  In all 507 completed the 10 and 5k races with 178 children and wheelchair competitors completing the colour run.  We’re still totting up the numbers but expect to have raised £6,000 towards the new sports pavilion which is a fantastic result.

Village runners put in some great times with Pete O’Connell leading the way with a great second place in the 5k followed by two fantastic times for junior runners Oskar Crook and Jacob Ball in 5th and 7th place respectively. In the 10k our first villager home was Phil Maggs with a great time of 42:40.

Next year’s race is pencilled in for the 6 May and details will be available on our website in due course.  All results and the chance to buy photos of the day (just £3) are also on – thanks to our official photographers Neil Sutherland, Chris Bryant and Rodney Tietjen.

Lastly, and most importantly, the race organisers would like to thank the 50+ villagers who helped out on the day, the support of residents along the route, everyone who ran and all those who came out and cheered.  Also, a huge thank you to our sponsors Lynn Murray & Co, Airwave, Wisborough Green Stores, The Three Crowns, Billingshurst Leisure Centre, Dairy Crest, Boz Holidays, Fishers Farm and local individuals.
