Stoolball originated in Sussex dating back to at least the 15th century. The game resembles cricket, baseball and rounders.
Wisborough Green has a team which practices regularly in the summer months on the village green and plays in the local leagues.

A tournament is held annual on the Village Green in August which attracts many local teams and spectators.
