Community
Minibus Association (West
Sussex) The Community Minibus Association of West Sussex is a charitable service, run by volunteers and is organised throughout the County into Divisions. The Wisborough Green section is part of the Billingshurst Division and has been successfully serving the residents of Wisborough Green for many years now, by making low-cost trips to destinations such as Horsham, Worthing, Chichester, Guildford, Cranleigh, Midhurst,, Crawley and Godalming. |

Volunteer Drivers and Escorts 'man' the service which, since the acquisition of a new six-seater VW bus, funded from a generous bequest to the Association from the late Pat Crighton-Smith, now runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. During the summer months, a number of 'special outings' are arranged and recent trips of this nature have been to Parham House, Ardingly Show, Wilton, Winchester, Brighton, Eastbourne, Loseley House Garden Show and the RHS Gardens at Wisley.
The schedule of destinations is published each month in 'Ad Vincula', the Parish magazine, on the two main Parish Council noticeboards on the Green and on the side of the bus shelter outside The Three Crowns, or by clicking here.
There is, perhaps, a misconception that the service is only for senior citizens. This is far from so as EVERYONE is welcome. All that is necessary is that, for the purposes of insurance, passengers join the Association by paying a token, annual subscription of £2.00 and then a very modest fare for each trip. Booking is essential and to reserve a place simply telephone Pat Farmer on 01403 700492.
We pride ourselves that we are able to pick up passengers and drop them off as close to their homes as possible and assistance is always available with carrying shopping bags.
The Wisborough Green Minibus is also available for use by other groups in the village. It remains part of the Association's fleet so a number of regulations apply but anyone interested in using it should contact Richard Parish on 01403 700628 to discuss the details.
SAFETY BELTS ARE FITTED TO ALL SEATS AND DRIVERS ARE SPECIALLY TESTED.

Village
Car Service
This service was created a number of years ago as part of the pastoral care
offered by St Peter ad Vincula to look after those in need in Wisborough Green.
The service is purely provided to offer transport help to attend health appointments;
doctor or hospital appointments as well as the optician or dentist. The service
is not available for shopping trips.
A number of volunteer drivers are registered with the village co-ordinators.
If you require transport assistance please telephone the village co-ordinators
who will arrange for the driver to contact you directly to confirm the arrangements.
There is no charge for the service but any donation would be welcome.
For further enquiries or to arrange help, please telephone the village co-ordinators:

Road Safety
‘Stay A Hero, Stay Safe’
is the Sussex Safer Roads Partnership's new campaign aimed at reducing the number
of motorcyclists casualties on Sussex’s roads each year. Currently, nearly
a quarter of all individuals killed and seriously injured are riding a motorcycle
– a massive over-representation when you consider that motorcycles only
account for around 5% of vehicles on the road. Click
