Community
Minibus Association (West
Sussex) The Minibus has been serving the residents of Wisborough Green for many years. Volunteer drivers and escorts 'man' the service every Wednesday and Friday and on two Mondays each month. Regular destinations include Horsham, Worthing, Chichester, Guildford, Cranleigh, Midhurst, Crawley and Godalming. In the summer months particularly, a number of 'special outings' are arranged. Recent trips of this nature have included Parham House, Wilton, The Ardingly Show, Winchester, Brighton, Eastbourne, Loseley and the RHS Gardens at Wisley. |

The schedule of destinations is published each month in 'Ad Vincula', the Parish magazine, or by clicking here.
Trips to Horsham are generally on Monday afternoons (from 2.00 pm) and Wednesday mornings (from 9.30 am returning at lunchtime). All other trips depart at 9.30 am and as a rule, return to the village around 3.00 pm, sometimes earlier.
There is perhaps a misconception that the service is only for senior citizens. This is far from so, as EVERYONE is welcome. All that is necessary is that those who wish to use the Bus pay a token annual subscription of £2.00 and then a very modest fare for each trip. Examples of current fares are £2 to Horsham, Cranleigh and Crawley, and £3.50 to Guildford, Chichester and Worthing.
At present we share a bus with the Billingshurst Division of the Association. From January 2008, Wisborough Green will also have its own six-seater bus.
Passengers are picked up and returned as close to their homes as possible and assistance is always available for shopping bags.
SAFETY BELTS ARE FITTED TO ALL SEATS AND DRIVERS ARE SPECIALLY TESTED.

provide the service, using helpful and friendly licensed drivers with modern
comfortable vehicles. There are four journeys on Mondays and Wednesdays, six

Village
Car Service
This service was created a number of years ago as part of the pastoral care
offered by St Peter ad Vincula to look after those in need in Wisborough Green.
The service is purely provided to offer transport help to attend health appointments;
doctor or hospital appointments as well as the optician or dentist. The service
is not available for shopping trips.
A number of volunteer drivers are registered with the village co-ordinators.
If you require transport assistance please telephone the village co-ordinators
who will arrange for the driver to contact you directly to confirm the arrangements.
There is no charge for the service but any donation would be welcome.
For further enquiries or to arrange help, please telephone the village co-ordinators:
