WG School News
Our brilliant PTA excelled themselves again, raising £8000 towards an outdoor classroom. There was singing, dancing and a horse show with a difference! We were lucky to have our day caught on camera, courtesy of Claudia Holden Photography so please have a look on our website to see some of the stunning shots of the day. Thank you to everyone who helped to make everything run so smoothly – it really was a team effort.
As part of our healthy living topic this term, all the children have had an opportunity to develop their cycling skills during ‘Bike Week’. It has been brilliant seeing everyone challenge themselves to improve their skills and the additional exercise is an added benefit.
One of the highlights of the term has to be the Rocky Monster Show production. The staff and children worked tirelessly to put on a high quality performance, full of fun and fear! Zombies, monsters, rockers and some unusual Wisborough villagers took to the stage to tell a tale of a masked Professor of Genetics. I am so proud of each and every one of our children – we really do know how to work in unity to achieve success. Well done!
Our 1940s garden was in full bloom for the Billingshurst Rotary Club competition and it looked beautiful. The gardening club and the Eco- Warriors designed the garden with flower fairies, magnificent men in their flying machines and a vegetable patch that the Horticultural Society would be proud of. Well done team WGPS!
It seems hard to believe another year has passed and that we have said goodbye to our hard working year 6. We would all like to wish them well in everything they do in the future. Every individual has the ability to change the world, so follow your hopes and dreams. Don’ t forget to come and visit us though, we love hearing about how you are getting on.
