Football Club   Well, a difficult time to report. The season is nearly over but the 1st XI still have 8 games to go as I am writing this. The pitch has been totally unplayable for all of January, February and March due to the spiking that took place in the autumn. They have unfortunately been relegated this season but that might not have been a surprise having been promoted for the last 3 seasons in a row. The 2nd XI still have 8 games to go as well and also look as if they may be relegated this season. Let’s hope they manage a few wins and survive. We all look forward to a successful season next year and hopefully 2 teams playing again.

For Club fixtures please check the web site www.full-time.thefa.com. This is not always reliable but is the best place to look for fixtures.

Stoolball: Depending on the weather you may have seen the Stoolball team practicing in the sun over the last 2 weeks on the Green…… or you may have seen us in wellies and waterproofs!  The season starts in earnest for the Team in May, but due to the pitch all of our League games are away this month. Hopefully the weather will be kind to allow the League games to get underway.

We are still looking for players to play- Monday and Wednesday nights are league and friendly games, Sundays we have tournaments. We know how hard it is to juggle families, children and work but it is great to get out to play even one day a week.

Follow us on our Facebook page for updates of matches and to contact us if you would like to come to a practice evening!
