The latest WG Sports News
Sports Association: The existing pavilion is being repaired and decorated. Any help with a paint brush will be gratefully received. We also need to look at the construction of the top Balcony which was repaired last year but only on a temporary basis.
Football Club: Neither team has played since the start of December 2017; this is mainly due to the weather and softness of the pitch from the autumn spiking.
For Club fixtures please check the web site www.full-time.thefa.com. This is not always reliable but is the best place to look for fixtures.
Cricket Club: Winter nets will be starting for the Colts at Cranleigh School from early March see next addition for details. Senior nets start in early April.
The Cricket Club AGM was held on Sunday 14 January and the club officials are remaining as last year. Chairman – Steve Calder Smith, Secretary – John Newman, 1st XI Captain – James Sadler.
New players are always welcome. Please call 1st XI captain James Sadler on 07973 414645
