Where to Eat

In addition to our popular cafe, we are very fortunate to have three excellent public houses in the village (please note that The Three Crowns is currently closed), all serving a different selection of food to suit every taste. There are also many other public houses in nearby villages as well as takeaway outlets in Billingshurst.

Old Mill Cafe

An independent café in the heart of Wisborough Green village on the A272, serving own blend coffee, breakfast, lunches, cream teas, cakes & pastries. Take away available.

The Bat & Ball

Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside and serving seasonal dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The bar boasts a great selection of real ales alongside a carefully selected wine list and soft drink selection and is a great place to enjoy a light bite in front of an open fire. Alternatively dine in Haywards Restaurant and enjoy the a la carte menu showcasing dishes carefully selected by Head Chef Adam. Website

The Cricketers Arms

Idyllically set in the village of Wisborough Green, you can sit and enjoy the beautiful vistas overlooking the village green where Cricket, Stoolball, Football and other activities are regularly played. The ‘Cricks’ as its known locally, is also key to many annual events throughout the year such as the legendary ‘Hot Air Balloon Festival’ and the Annual Village Hog Roast. Light bites, burgers and hearty mains are served in this traditional pub. Website

The Three Crowns

Sadly The Three Crowns is currently closed and looking for a new owner/publican. The residents of Wisborough Green hope that this pub will be open again soon.

It has in the past been a cosy, family run home from home, a warm and welcoming village pub.  Located on the A272 in the heart of Wisborough Green, the pub has a lovely large and safe garden for all to enjoy. Guests are served with a selection of handpicked local ales and ingredients for the menu are sourced from local farmers, butchers, bakers, fruit growers and even wine makers! Everyone is welcome at The Three Crowns be it for a coffee, a pint, glass of wine, bite to eat, meeting friends for lunch or celebrating a special occasion.
