WG Beavers have had another great term with a host of fantastic activities indoors and out. We’ve welcomed 2 new volunteers to our team Rosemary
and Luan, we’re really pleased to have them on board and looking forward to welcoming a new Young Leader in the New Year from Plaistow Guides for her Bronze DofE.
We’ve been practising our knots and lashing skills making Christmas Stars with hazel and sanding and drilling wood to make Christmas Trees with colourful wool. We also joined with Beavers and Rainbows from across the District for our annual Christmas Party at Pulborough Village Hall with a magic show, party tea and (not so) silent disco. In the spring we have 2 very exciting events; firstly on Saturday 1st February we’re having an afternoon for new volunteers to come along and see what Scouting is all about, the second is the planned relaunch of the Scout Unit in Wisborough Green!
