Both Marion and I would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone, in both Parishes, for the incredible number of cards and messages, and the beautiful photos of our Church buildings, plus the two very generous contributions to our retirement fund.

Our final service in St.Peter’s Wisborough Green, shared with so many friends with whom we have walked these last ten years (Wisborough Green) and four and a half years (Kirdford with Plaistow) was such a joy. The service with the Blessing finale, sung by the choir, followed by the sumptuous, shared lunch in the village hall, and Richard’s kind words was an occasion we will always remember fondly. The beautiful cake that we were able to share was like a creation from the TV series, ‘The Great British Bake Off’, although we didn’t recognise the two figures surrounded by sheep that topped the sponge!! Thank you, it was delicious!

We are due to depart the Vicarage at the end of July, and when we know where we will be residing, we shall pass on the details and would love you to visit. We have just welcomed our family back from Uganda and are in the process of sorting out their move, never a dull moment here!

Thank you again for all your prayers, love and support, and we pray that those tasked with selecting the new Incumbent will be filled with God’s Grace, Goodness and Discernment through the process of selection.

Clive and Marion Jenkins
