The Society meets in the Committee Room at the Village Hall on the second Tuesday of the month at 10.30am and occasionally at other places and times, and we warmly welcome new members. For further
details, please call Paul Killingbeck on 01403 700704 or come along to one of our meetings.
Over the past two years we have had donated or placed into our care, several items that add to the story of our parish. Examples range from a collection of late 19th century auctioneer’s catalogues, an income and expenditure ledger of the Reading Room that used to be in School Road, a minute book from the cricket club covering the first half of the 20th century and a day-book with copies of correspondence and a lease that belonged to a previous landlord of the Three Crowns who was also the owner of the old mill, also from the early 20th century. It is a constant delight to find that such items survive. If you have any documents, photographs, or artefacts relating to Wisborough Green that you no longer want, please consider donating them, or copies of them, to the history society.
