The “Open Gardens” team are working hard to build a wonderful Bank Holiday Weekend of gardens open. Not as hard, possibly, as the folk that have kindly offered their gardens for us all to view, and we do thank all of them for giving their time and expertise for our pleasure.
We will have a total of twelve gardens to view, each with their own differences, a brief description of which will be explained on the tickets. We also have the allotments open for visiting this year. It is the produce from some of these allotment holders that will grace our tables in the marquee at the August Show.
Most of the gardens are within easy walking distance from the centre of the village. For the more outlying gardens in Newpound and Fittleworth Road, we will have the use of the mini-bus. This service will be a hop on hop off round robin and will, of course, be in line with Covid-19 restrictions of maximum six passengers at any one time. We will, of course, apply strict Covid-19 restrictions, as they apply at the time, to all gardens and other activities.
Wisborough Bakers will be ensuring that homemade cakes and tea will be served at Church during the afternoon.
Our dates are May 30th and 31st 2021, 1.00 pm until 5.30 pm, and we very much look forward to seeing many visitors to enjoy our lovely gardens.
Tickets will be available on the Green on the days.
