One of the more frequent uses of the village hall is for children’s parties. The dimensions of the main hall make it ideal for bouncy castles and these generous proportions give our hall an advantage over others in the district which cannot accommodate large play structures.
Costs are rising or are volatile and the hall is not immune from the effects of price increases, especially the cost of utilities. Regrettably, therefore, the hall committee has had to increase the hire fees with effect from 1 October 2025. This is the first increase in three years. The rise is very modest – as little as 50p per hour in some cases. Regular hirers have been informed.
