The club meets in the Village Hall every Monday (2pm to 4pm) and is a small friendly group of mixed ages and abilities. Since starting up in 2009, the club has grown in both strength and numbers with a current
membership of over 30.
The Joan Goodchild Memorial ‘Aussie Pairs’ Competition on Monday 1st September was well attended with 10 teams taking part.
The teams played a round robin format against random opponents. Each team played 4 games and the games were generally very competitive with only one team winning all four games throughout the day. Congratulations go to the Trophy Winners with 8 points +14, Tony Broughton and Baz Nixon. Runners Up on count back with 6 points +14, Sarah Tanner and Bernard Adsett.
