(Up and running in 1924 (and apparently earlier!) – RHS affiliated)
Our first event of 2026 takes place on Monday March the 2nd at the Village Hall at 7pm. Open to all members and those from Wisborough Green and the surrounding areas who love gardening and who would like to learn a little more about the society. The AGM and Quiz night will start at 7pm – a little formal business followed by our usual entertaining horticultural quiz with prizes for the winning and losing table! Wine and nibbles will be provided and there is no charge, but donations are always welcome. No need to form teams for the quiz, just come along and sit at a table and join in.
Our annual plant sale will take place on May the 16th at 11.30am on the Little Green, do put the date in your diary and if you have any spare seedlings or plants that can be split, please do bear us in mind!
By the time this comes to print the schedules for the Summer shows will be available in the village shop. We have some exciting new classes this year, alongside old favourites, including a Bake Off spectacular cake in the cooking section. Of course there has been talk of introducing some aquatic classes but hopefully it will stop raining at some point!
