It is likely that, by the time you read this we will have held our main event of the year – The August Show,  with entries already flooding in – it promises to be a good one!   Full report in next month’s magazine.

Just a couple more dates for your diary.   On Monday 6th October Mark Saunders,  head gardener at Fittleworth House is coming to the village hall to give a talk on Garden Inspiration – a visual tour of Britain’s most beautiful gardens,  famous and private – for those seeking creative planning and planting ideas for their own plot.  The talk will start at 7.15 and tickets are available (£10 for non-members and £5 for members) in advance from Kate Osborne  Tel: 01403 700165, email katemosborne@aol.com or on the door.   Refreshments available.   All details are on the website.

It may be a little early…….  but just a reminder that if you would like to make a wreath for your Christmas door – The Hort. Soc. will be repeating last year’s wreath making class.   This year’s event will take place at the village hall on the afternoon of Saturday 6th December. Do please save the date!  More details to follow……
